Crash and Burn
I am fickle
I fall in love faster than a falling star
Then fall out before the star has landed
I hold onto to the past for dear life
Never wanting to lose my clutch on an ex
I play fast and I play loose
Monogamy is not my strong suit
I lie, I scheme, I cheat
At my games I can’t be beat
I wish that my heart would quiet down
So I could hear the thoughts in my head
I know my heart is telling me to love
But my head is saying enough is enough
Make a choice
Pick a man
One of these days I’ll crash and burn
Then maybe I’ll finally learn
I am fickle
I fall in love faster than a falling star
Then fall out before the star has landed
I hold onto to the past for dear life
Never wanting to lose my clutch on an ex
I play fast and I play loose
Monogamy is not my strong suit
I lie, I scheme, I cheat
At my games I can’t be beat
I wish that my heart would quiet down
So I could hear the thoughts in my head
I know my heart is telling me to love
But my head is saying enough is enough
Make a choice
Pick a man
One of these days I’ll crash and burn
Then maybe I’ll finally learn
